imat-uve uses EK 250 in BAM round robin test
The preliminary schedule of Olfasense's 2017 odour workshop on product and material testing is now online and registration has opened.
We are very glad to welcome Prof. Dr. Thomas J. Simat and Dr. Hansruedi Gygax in our round of speakers, and we look forward to also welcoming you on 26 January 2017 at our Olfasense laboratory facilities in Kiel, Germany.
On 10 November, our consultant Lieke van Genderen will speak at the Autumn Symposium of the Dutch Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NVCC), taking place in Leerdam, Netherlands.
In her technical paper, Lieke will share insights about "Odour Analysis in the Cosmetic Industry".
We are very proud to present the latest developments concerning our smart web platform for odour complaint management Odourmap at NOSE2016.
By its agnostic and scalable nature in IoT data source integration, the platform is ready to be used in various other areas than only odour management - such as any air quality parameter, noise or vibration monitoring.
Furthermore, Odourmap has been enhanced with features for Dispersion Modelling, the inclusion of Sensor Data and for Process Management.
We are proud to announce that our accredited Olfasense laboratories in Germany and the Netherlands complied with the requirements of EN 13725 in the 2016 proficiency test for olfactometry.
In addition to our stationary laboratories, it is particularly worth mentioning that we passed the proficiency test for olfactometry 2016 also with our mobile laboratory TO8s for international odour projects.
About 10 years ago, Olfasense B.V. symbolically adopted the Malayan tapir Aya in Amsterdam Royal Zoo, to support the zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts.
Did you know that Malayan tapirs are known for their excellent sense of smell? And though they could perfectly work as an odour specialist, the tapir’s flexible nose can also be used as a snorkel when underwater, and as a mini-trunk to pluck tasty fruit.
We are happy to announce the 2017 edition of the Olfasense Workshop on Product and Material Testing. As last year, we will welcome you directly at our Olfasense laboratory facilities in Kiel, Germany.
Please mark the 26th of January 2017 in your calendars, and - if you would like to stay up to date on our 2017 workshop - please complete the non-binding pre-registration form.
