{"id":3208,"date":"2018-03-08T15:04:43","date_gmt":"2018-03-08T14:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/?p=3208"},"modified":"2021-01-19T10:30:47","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T09:30:47","slug":"joint-project-to-develop-sensor-networks-perception-of-odour-sources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/de\/2018\/03\/joint-project-to-develop-sensor-networks-perception-of-odour-sources\/","title":{"rendered":"Olfasense is part of a joint project to develop sensor networks for the objective perception of odour sources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Olfasense GmbH is one of three partners in a project called\u00a0<strong>&#8222;Sensor networks for the objective perception of odour sources (SEPEG)&#8220;.<\/strong> The project, which runs from 01.01.2018 to 30.06.2020, is funded by the BMBF, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, under grant number 01 \/\u00a0S17087B.<\/p>\n<p>Together with our project partners <strong>3S \u2013 Sensors, Signal Processing, Systems GmbH<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>LMT, Lab for Measurement Technology of Saarland University<\/strong>, we are working to complement\u00a0recognized measuring methods of human sensory odour analysis in the immission area, such as direct assessment via field inspectios or olfactometry,\u00a0by a continuous measuring method using sensor\u00a0networks.<\/p>\n<p>Another part of the project is the provision of a web platform for temporally and spatially resolved visualization of different data channels, such as sensor readings, meteorological readings and input by\u00a0local residents.
