The role will involve contributing to the management and delivery of technical odour survey and impact assessment studies for a wide range of clients in the UK.<\/p>\n

Salary<\/strong><\/p>\nThe salary range is \u00a324,400 to \u00a332,340.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\nYou will take a role in the delivery of odour assessment studies, as well as seeking new opportunities and building client relationships. The key responsibilities of the role will include:<\/p>\n
\n- Data analysis, interpretation and problem solving.<\/li>\n
- Project management and technical report preparation\/delivery.<\/li>\n
- Undertaking dispersion modelling studies.<\/li>\n
- Preparation \/ design of proposals to meet specific client objectives.<\/li>\n
- Coordination of site survey and laboratory analysis personnel as part of project delivery.<\/li>\n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.<\/li>\n
- Undertaking onsite odour survey and sampling work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The majority of the company\u2019s work is in the UK and Ireland. However, there may be opportunities to travel further afield as part of Olfasense\u2019s global projects team.<\/p>\n
Experience and personal characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Experience in environmental consulting, regulation related to air quality \/ air pollution or a similar field is desirable for the consultant role, although graduate applications will be considered for the assistant consultant role.<\/li>\n
- Project management skills.<\/li>\n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver work to tight deadlines.<\/li>\n
- Ability to prepare high quality technical reports on time and budget.<\/li>\n
- Experience in GIS systems and\/or the application of dispersion models for impact assessment is desirable, although training in this will be provided.<\/li>\n
- High level of numeracy and computer literacy. Excellent verbal and written English with proven reporting skills.<\/li>\n
- Confident communicator, both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n
- Conscientious and self-starting, with a strong technical ability to review and interpret data.<\/li>\n
- An effective team player, with a passion for what you do.<\/li>\n
- Eligibility to work in the UK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Education, Qualifications, Memberships:<\/strong><\/p>\nA minimum of a BSc degree in a relevant (scientific) discipline. Higher level qualifications are desirable.<\/p>\n
