{"id":20641,"date":"2022-11-25T07:52:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-25T06:52:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/?p=20641"},"modified":"2023-07-18T13:23:37","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T11:23:37","slug":"odour-assessment-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/de\/2022\/11\/odour-assessment-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Higher technical training course (post-HBO) on odour assessment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The PAO Techniek en Management (PAOTM), a non-profit organisation offering post-academic education in various technical fields, is planning to organize a course on air pollution starting in early 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is still open, so be quick to enroll yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Our odour expert and director of Olfasense B.V., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/company\/team\/anouk-snik-van-den-burg\/\">Anouk Snik &#8211; van den Burg<\/a> will be a co-lecturer of this annual course.<\/p>\n<p>It comprises 5 different modules on air pollution, air quality, and deposition, and it is organised as a higher technical training course (post-HBO) for people working in this field.<\/p>\n<p>Anouk is an expert in environmental odour consultancy as well as laboratory quality management, and participants will benefit from her knowledge around questions such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olfasense.com\/odour-assessment\/\">odour assessments<\/a> performed?<\/li>\n<li>What standards are used? (with a focus NTA 9065, the Dutch standard on odour measurements and assessments)<\/li>\n<li>How do you set up a measurement plan?<\/li>\n<li>How are these measurements and odour analyses performed?<\/li>\n<li>How do you interpret the results, including dispersion modelling?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anouk&#8217;s session will also include a practical part on the operation of equipment used in odour laboratories, including sniffing sticks.
